The Porsche brand is known for its sexy and stylish offerings, but at the recent Los Angeles Auto Show it proved to throngs of onlookers that it's more than just a pretty face.

That's because, our favorite automaker debuted its brand-new 2014 Porsche Cayman and its sportier "S" sibling.

Curious to know what the new models have to offer?

The new Porsche model, the Cayman, features powerful insides; equipped with a legendary 2.7-liter, direct-injection flat six-cylinder Porsche Boxter which produces 275 horsepower and reaches up to 165 miles per hour. The more athletic Cayman S features the same engine found in the Porsche 911 Carrera: the Porsche Boxter S:  a direct-injection, 3.4-liter flat V6 that makes up to 375 horsepower and reaches a speed of 175 miles per hour. Both autos come standard with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional PDK seven-speed dual-clutch auto one.

Then there's speed: the base Cayman model sports a zero-to-sixty sprint time of 5.4 seconds running on its manual transmission and 5.3 with PDK. The Cayman S variant bests these times by clocking in at 4.7 and 4.6 seconds, respectively.

As for the pricing for the two models, it has yet to be announced. But, experts are predicting at least $54,000, including destination fee, for the base Cayman model , and $10,000 more for the Cayman S.
