Despite its slight weight drop, the GT3 will continue in the tradition of being a venerable racer.

Instead of supplying the model with the expected 4.0-liter straight-six, the automaker will equip the 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 with the 3.8L six-cylinder found in the regular 911 Carrera S.
