In addition, Matthias Mueller, Porsche CEO, told industry experts that plans for a new two-seater have been dropped as well. This comes as sad news for any enthusiast who loves the Porsche Boxster. The model-in-question was to sit just below the Boxster in size and price and provide fans with a new Porsche roadster option.

While these updates might sound dismal, Boardwalk Porsche is confident that the leaders of Porsche know what they're doing. What's more, we are encouraged to know that both a Boxster successor and the Pajun could begin development again in a few years. Mueller says, "Possibly we need to wait until the next generation of customers before the idea of a small roadster will work..."¹ Specifically, a new two-seater could come in 2014 while the Pajun would wait until 2017.
