The arrival of another auto show always has those of us at Porsche of Plano excited to find out what our favorite maker, Porsche, will have in store for its debuts. Luckily, with the Los Angeles show still a few days away, we were able to learn ahead of time just what Porsche has planned.
As it turns out, the innovative German automaker will be presenting not one, but, two world-class sports cars for onlookers in L.A. Specifically, one model will be a compact sports car, for which details are limited, and the other will be the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 which made its world debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and will make its North American one at the Los Angeles show.
And, the timing couldn't be better ; after all, the North American market is currently considered to be Porsche's largest with 28,226 new Porsche models sold here this year alone. This number represents a 13-percent increase from the same time last year. Additionally, in the month of October, Porsche's sales increased 41-percent, with a total of 3,211 new models delivered to U.S. customers.
When the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 has its North American unveiling, it will display as a new model sporting a distinct rear section and augmented rear lights with a rear strip between them. It will be fitted with the well-known Porsche all-wheel drive system which allows the rear wheels to harness power and amounts to maximum performance on any road surface or in any weather condition.
