With all the excitement that the new Porsche lineup offers for drivers in the Plano area and beyond, we at Porsche of Plano are continually pleased with our favorite automaker's offerings.

But, there's been one particular model that we've been looking forward to for quite some time now and are glad to say may be on its way to our dealership at 5924 West Plano, TX 75093: the Porsche Macan.

Enthusiasts of the Porsche brand may have heard of the Macan; it's a crossover with a smaller frame than that of the well-known Porsche Cayenne, currently available here at Porsche of Plano. The Macan also stands out thanks to its raised liftgate and updated powertrain which is predicted to either include a 2.0-liter I-4 or 3.0-liter V6 engine.

And, according to recent spy shots of the Macan out having fun in the snow, it appears there has been significant progress and updates made to the auto from when we first caught a glimpse of it. This includes a much more shapely style lending itself to an image that appears to be more production-ready than previously.

So when can we expect to see the Porsche Macan at Porsche of Plano?

Specifics haven't been released about that quite yet, but the model is set to be revealed later this year with an official release in 2014.
